The Filo dell'Arpa ridge and its true summit, <strong>Le Montagnole</strong> (675 m), via the muleteers' path and its volcanic stone steps. 360° view over the whole archipelago: smoking Stromboli, Filicudi, Salina, Lipari, Vulcano — and Sicily in the distance on clear days.

Volcanic rock arches accessible by swimming from the harbour. Crystal-clear water, curious fish. Mask and snorkel provided at the house.

3 h · Easy

With a local fisherman, at sunset. Hidden coves unreachable on foot, blue grotto, swimming in waters only boats know. Aperitivo on board.

5 h · Medium

Departure at 5am with an Alicudi fisherman. Nets, longlines, techniques passed down through generations. Back home the fish is cooked in the village and shared at the table.

At a local woman's home: pasta alla norma, pistachio pesto, pane cunzatu, almond biscotti. We cook, then eat together with the house Malvasia wine.

Evening · Easy

An island family opens their table. Honest Alicudi cooking, stories, music, and that Aeolian sense of hospitality. Book ahead — the island counts about a hundred year-round inhabitants.

2 SUPs are available at the house. Hug the cliffs, paddle to an isolated cove, have your coffee offshore. Vest and pump provided.

Alicudi's seabed shelters groupers, wrasses, octopus, and sometimes rays. Mask, snorkel and fins available. Best spots: Scoglio Galera, Bazzina, Perciato.

2 h · Contemplation

Alicudi is among the last dark-sky sanctuaries in Europe. From the terrace or the ridge, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye. In August, the Perseids fall over the sea.

3 h · Medium

The northeast tip of the island, less travelled than the Filo. Paths among wild caper bushes, ruins of abandoned hamlets, breathtaking belvederes onto Filicudi.

Session at sunrise or sunset, on the terrace or by the sea. On request, with a local instructor.
